K-drama lines that survive contact with reality
Watch 400 hours, learn 9 lines, deploy zero. Let's fix that.
La explicación está en inglés. Las líneas coreanas y su sentido siguen tu idioma.
괜찮아 (I'm okay / it's fine) is the most repeated line in K-drama history and the most useful in real Seoul. 죽겠다 (I'm dying — spicy food, stairs, everything) is the second.
Sageuk (historical) speech is a costume — no one says 어명하신가 at a cafe. But clinic/office dramas teach real honorific gradients: 부장님, 과장님, 그쪽 (that side — the polite 'you').
The line that actually changes your life: 뭐 드셔요? No wait — it's 우리 셀카 찍자? Nah. It's 다음 화 어디까지 봤어? — 'where are you in the show?' Friendship secured. Fandom activated.
