Banks, ATMs, and 신분증
외환 cards work in global ATMs; the banking app wants your 인증서.
La explicación está en inglés. Las líneas coreanas y su sentido siguen tu idioma.
ATMs with a 글로벌 (global) sticker take foreign cards and often have English. 한국어 모드에서: 입금 (deposit), 출금 (withdrawal), 잔액 조회 (balance). Three words and the machine is yours.
Opening an account: 계좌를 만들고 싶은데요 (I'd like to open an account) plus your 여권 (passport). They'll ask 주소 (address) and 전화번호 (phone number). Write it on paper if speaking fails — 창구 (teller window) staff are patient.
신분증 (ID) is the key to everything — clubs, hotels, some ticket offices. 여권 works. Losing it: 여권을 잃어버렸어요 is the phrase, consulate is the place. Photocopy it and breathe.
