댓글 문화: reading the comments
Korean comment sections are their own art form. Learn to read the code.
설명은 영어입니다. 한국어 문장과 뜻은 선택한 언어를 따릅니다.
Length = tone. A long post ending with ~요 is polite opinion; ending with ㅋㅋㅋ is a joke; ending with a period is quiet anger. 댓글 punctuation is emotional braille.
The greatest hits: ㄹㅇ (for real), ㅇㅈ (I acknowledge/agree), ㅁㄹ (I don't know — 몰라), 남이야 (not my business). Number slang: 486 means 사랑해 (4 letters, 6 strokes, 한글 numerology — look it up).
Kindness protocol: 응원합니다 (I'm rooting for you) under someone's hard day. Korean internet can be spicy, but the 응원 comments rise to the top — and now you can write one that reads native.
