Fandom speak: 덕질 입문

덕질 (deokjil) — the art of being a fan — has its own grammar.

A explicação está em inglês. As linhas coreanas e o sentido seguem o seu idioma.

덕후 (deokhu) is a hardcore fan; 덕질 is the act of fanning. 컴백 (comeback) means a new release, not a return from retirement. 응원봉 (light stick) is not optional at concerts — it's your ticket into the crowd's ocean.

팬싸 (fansign) events run on short, loud questions. The classic: 첫인상이 어땠어요? (what was your first impression of me?). The answer is always 커피 같았어요 or better — this is scripted intimacy and both sides know it.

생일 카페 (birthday cafe), 응원 문구 (support banners), 포토카드 trades — fandom Korean is business Korean with hearts. Trades happen in 카톡 with the phrase 교환 가능해요? (is a trade possible?). Now you're bilingual in the good way.
