Most pronunciation apps tell you how a word is supposed to sound. This one listens to how you actually said it and scores the attempt. The microphone is processed in your browser: nothing is recorded, nothing is uploaded, and there is no account.

The useful part is the gap between reading a word and producing it on request. Koreans are used to a comfortable vowel length, a closed final syllable, and liaison that pulls words together. Those are exactly the three things that break when a learner speaks, and they are exactly the three things this lab measures.

• Say the whole sentence, not just the target word — intonation changes the sound.
• Record yourself once and listen back. You will hear the difference immediately.
• If the score stays low on one word, it is usually the final consonant, not the vowel.
• Use it after the lessons, not instead of them. Grammar you have not met yet does not get easier by guessing.
