Korea sorts: 재활용 (recycling), 음식물 쓰레기 (food waste), 일반 쓰레기 (general). General trash goes in 종량제봉투 — official paid bags from the mart.
Food waste goes in separate bags or taps a card at the building machine. Bones, shells, and tea leaves are NOT food waste (they're general — who knew).
Trash day varies by district (배출 요일). Your neighbors WILL police this. Learn the schedule or find sticky notes.
